In the footsteps of Fellini
Federico Fellini is one of the most significant directors in the history of international cinema. He is the man who made Italy famous throughout the world as the land of La Dolce Vita. Originally from Rimini, an entire museum was dedicated to him, located in three key points of the old town:
Castel Sismondo, Fulgor Palace and Piazza Malatesta. The Fellini Museum was inaugurated in the summer of 2021 and is one of the most important cultural heritage projects in the country. It is an unmissable event that will immerse visitors in a highly creative and emotional dimension.
Discovering ancient Rimini
Founded by the Romans more than 2,000 years ago, Rimini was one of the most important centres of the Empire and, even today, bears the signs of this glorious past: the famous Arch of Augustus, the majestic Tiberius Bridge, the physiognomy of the old town divided into two main axes (Via Garibaldi and Corso d'Augusto) and many other ancient treasures.
There is also a vast archaeological area in the heart of the city that can be visited in its entirety: the Surgeon's Domus, named after the surgical instruments found during its excavation.

Don Bosco was a priest regarded by the Church as the father and teacher of young people. Always involved in educational missions, Don Bosco found many benefactors and supporters in all countries. “They treated me like a prince here” exclaimed Don Bosco after his visit to Rimini in 1882.
Today, the city remembers the Saint with the Salesian community consisting of a holiday home, a parish and an oratory that welcome groups and families with a Salesian-style recreational and religious service.
